Susan Fletcher, Ph.D. is a practicing psychologist specializing in helping individuals, professionals and organizations apply strategies for immediate improvement. Susan uses her expertise and experience to teach people how to develop their own best practices to enhance focus, balance, and perspective to successfully meet the challenges of today's home and work environments.

Susan began her education at the University of Florida where she earned her undergraduate degree in Health & Human Performance. She then went on to earn a Masters in Counseling Psychology and her Ph.D. from Texas Woman's University. Susan's early training included internships at Salesmanship Club Family Therapy Center and at the University of Texas at Dallas Counseling Center. Her Ph.D. internships were served at Fort Worth Independent School District and the Child Study Center where she provided psychological/educational assessments, consultation, individual education plans, and behavior management for school aged children.

After a few years in private practice, Susan switched gears to work with Dr. Phil McGraw ("Dr. Phil") as a litigation specialist on high profile cases, assisting in the production of mock trials, preparing expert witnesses and assisting in jury selection. In 2000, Susan came back to her practice to successfully balance her family life and professional pursuits. Fletcher & Associates Psychological Services, P.A. has continued to grow, making a difference in the lives of numerous patients.

In addition to expanding her private practice, Susan has developed her Smart Zone™ concept and continued to build her reputation as a consultant helping public and private organizations. With an inherent understanding of the corporate culture, Susan has successfully trained people in varied corporate settings to "Stay in their Smart Zone™."

It is a combination of her professional and personal experiences that enables Susan to be a compassionate, yet objective and effective expert who speaks. It's easy to tell that she enjoys the opportunity to be a part of successful change for individuals who participate in her workshops and conferences. Susan and her husband live in Plano, Texas with their three young sons.
